Final Biology Post

In Biology 11, one of the main concepts that I learned was how things are capable of changing over time. This was demonstrated when we studied evolution and natural selection, and it was also demonstrated when we learned about plants and animals. Evolution is present in the change of the anatomies, behaviours and functions of plants and animals. After we studied each phylum in animalia, we could see how things changed slightly, to eventually create lots of change.
In our class, I think I would try to change how I did my quiz scores. They were not worth a lot of marks but they were also good studying tools that I could've used more to prepare for the test.
In my opinion, one of the most interesting things that I learned in this class was about how some organisms are capable of surviving without mouths, stomachs or limbs. This is crazy to me that organisms can survive without complex organs. We are so different from these organisms and it's so interesting to see.

Aquarium Picture

This is a photo of a group of jellyfish that I saw at the aquarium. These jellyfish are moon jellyfish and they belong the phylum Cnidaria. The subphylum they belong to is Scyphozoa. All members of the class Scyphozoa have a medusa that is large and long-lived. This organism is in the medusa shape which is similar to lots of other jellyfish in its phylum.
